Speech & Debate has the power to transform students' lives by teaching them valuable skills including critical thinking, public speaking, research, collaboration, and open-mindedness. Yet for too many students, this opportunity remains out of reach. External factors like travel expenses, tournament fees, and the cost of coaches or judges often create high barriers to entry, excluding students from marginalized backgrounds and underfunded schools.

At Outreach Debate, we believe Speech & Debate should be accessible to every student, not just those who can afford it. That's why we've launched several scholarship initiatives to make this activity more equitable - one state at a time.
